Medicom Medical Publishers are international publishers, specialized in providing “best in class” medical information to European doctors and patients. Medicom’s main office is located in Baarn, the Netherlands, with offices in Belgium and Sweden. Our team consists of 15 professionals. Amongst others we publish local editions of the British Medical Journal, BJU International, Arthritis Care & Research, Heart, Thorax, Gut, Practical Neurology, the British Journal of Psychiatry, etc. All these journals are among the most influential medical journals in the world, measured by the citation index. We publish local editions of these journals in 7 European countries, but not yet in Germany. The local editions of these journals help the local specialists to stay abreast of the international developments in their field. Medicom is one of Europe’s main players in this field. On top of the journals, Medicom will also extend its product line in Germany with a series of other publications, such as the Miniatlas, a series of pocket-sized medical atlases for medical professionals, and the Patient Guide, a series of small books for patients. These series have proven to be very successful in other European countries.
